The decisive reason I started at Embers nearly 15 years ago was the flexible scheduling. It’s hard to find another job that fits so well with raising children. In the beginning, I thought I’d just do the work for a few years until my child was a bit older. But by now, I really enjoy working at Embers, and I wouldn’t want to give up the flexibility of scheduling. Thanks to various company events, I’ve also stayed in regular contact with my colleagues, and some of them have even become very good friends whom I now also meet up with privately.

I arrange my working hours so that I can pick up my children myself, meet friends for breakfast, and go on vacation whenever I want. I’ve met many wonderful colleagues, and even though we work from home, there are always great meetups that I enjoy attending to connect with many new agents. For me, there’s nothing better right now. I work from home, I don’t have to go out in terrible weather, and I don’t use up any gas.

What I especially like about Embers are the team leaders. They never put us under pressure and are available for us agents 24/7. Whatever you need, they’re always happy to help. For me, this is a dream job, and I’m very happy to be part of it.

When my mother fell seriously ill in 2003, I had to give up my job and dedicate myself to caring for her. However, I wasn’t used to being just a “housewife,” so I started looking for work that I could balance with caregiving. Over the past few years, I’ve managed a wide variety of projects, and new challenges keep coming my way. Working as a home office agent is a great and reliable way to earn money from home. For anyone who enjoys talking on the phone and working independently, I can only recommend giving it a try.
